I love my Seacell sweater. I’ve worn it 3 days in a row. It still smells fresh! It’s cozy yet light weight.

This is a preliminary review. I ordered two of the all season waffle knit sweaters. I ordered a M for myself and a XL for my husband. Since it's unisex sizes, I was afraid the M would be too large for me. It fit perfect and felt wonderful. My husband's was way too tight for him--he has gained a lot around the middle so I'm not surprised. He also liked the feel of it. So we decided we'd reorder an XXL for him. Our daughter and son-in-law stopped by as we were packing up the XL to ship back. He wears an X usually but I felt the XL would fit him and it was a perfect fit for him. They're leaving in two weeks for Iceland so I gave it to him. When I ordered another for my husband, I also ordered an XS for my daughter since her husband got one . . . and then I ordered the emerald blue crew neck for me because I love that color. My husband and I are heading to Romania in October and plan to just take carry on bags. I ordered these sweaters for the trip and will report back after--and may do one of the challenges on the trip.

The first thing I noticed about my sweater was how soft it was. Upon putting it on it felt extremely cozy. Not hot, not cold, but just right. I didn't notice any tightness anywhere and it fit me well. The green color got me a lot of compliments too, as I sent a picture to anyone that cared to see. I've since worn the sweater whenever I wanted to feel cozy, and maybe that's what it will be, at least until cooler temperatures return and it becomes socially acceptable to be outside in a sweater.

My husband says it’s the color of my eyes. I have worn it with a skirt and with overalls. I’m making it part of my summer go-to as it is nice for entering into icy air conditioning, and cooling enough for a walk outside, even in the sun; perfect for evening walk with the dog. I’m sure it will become a life-long friend. My husband wants one, and thinks we should get them for our daughters (so they don’t “accidentally” take it home with them.) The natural fibers are just what the doctor ordered after too many years in polyester.

I was looking for something that is sustainable, warm, and would last me through hiking, camping, and just being at home where no matter what temperature it is outside, I'm always cold (especially when I'm working in my downstairs office). I'm working on cutting down my wardrobe and buying pieces that can go with a lot of different outfits. I've already been able to get rid of 6 other sweaters that aren't nearly as nice as this one. I recently went camping down to the Grand-Staircase Escalante area in southern Utah and didn't even have to wash my sweater when I got home. It still smells clean, even after some light hiking and being around campfires. The sweater is super soft (even softer after wearing a few times), I love the neutral undyed color, and I can wear it with everything. I'll definitely be buying one or two more sweaters from Oliver Charles!

I was super happy with my lovely Oliver Charles quarter zip. Kept me dry and cozy when needed and sweat wicking when appropriate as the weather changed from rainy cold to hot sun. Having the versatility in a sweater is key in how you feel, this does the job. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to be warm and wick sweat when appropriate as the day heats up.

I was skeptical about wearing a sweater in warm weather. While I don’t think I could wear the seacell in mid to late hot summer weather, it was good for 60’s and possibly low 70’s if not in full sun or high humidity. It will be a good addition to my MN wardrobe because we have limited very hot weather. I loved that the sweater could be dressed up or down. I wore it for a variety of occasions and even bike rides. I was surprised how comfortable it felt every time I wore it. I wish there were more colors. OC sweaters will have a positive impact on my life because they inspire me to downsize my wardrobe and buy fewer plastic fibers in the future. Anyone who cares about our planet and wants to start a capsule wardrobe should buy OC sweaters.

I’ve tried merino wool products in the past from a few other brands with pretty good results, and I was excited to try yak wool for the first time ever. I worried that it might get uncomfortably hot as the springtime weather in Chicagoland was warming into the 60’s and even a couple days into the 70’s during my 7-Day challenge. I only felt barely too warm one time, and it never got stinky. I even cleaned out my garden beds and planted all of my flowers and herbs wearing this most of the time. It wouldn’t get dirty, I could just brush off any soil and it stayed perfectly clean and fresh. It never stretched out, but I love that I can pull the wrists down to cover my hands when I get really cold. It’s a bit stretchy like that. It’s already my go-to sweater, and so versatile that I’m taking it to Costa Rica next week. I love the XS undyed hoodie, and I think I could have worn an XXS if I wanted it tight. The XS is fairly trim fitting and I could still put a t-shirt underneath when I wanted. I haven’t washed it yet but I have no doubt it will hold up really well. What a game changer in downsizing my wardrobe and investing in higher quality items. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to switch away from the hormone disrupting synthetic fabrics like polyester.

I really like the Summer Cardigan in heathered brown that I got. When I first opened it up, I wasn't sure if I loved the material (seacell) but now I'm a convert. It was really comfy and lasted the full 7 days. No wear and tear, no smell, nothing. Just a versatile sweater that looked good dressed up or down. It ran a little large, so I got an XS (instead of my normal S). I'm happy to have this piece in a neutral color that can go with pretty much anything.

I have worn this dress doing the most mundane and sedentary adventures to some pretty active adventures - I’ve had a doctor appointment, relaxed, cooked, played pickle ball, walked for exercise, and saw a LOT of clients, in temperatures ranging from mid-50s to low 80s. This dress is up for all of it!! And wearing it several days in a row, gives credence to The Spotlight Effect. No one seemed to notice at all - in fact one of my clients complimented me on my dress on two different days, as though she hadn’t seen it before. I was a bit skeptical of the blue-grey color. But I have a number of pieces now, and while navy is still my favorite of their palate, this dress is not offered at the moment in navy. The blue-grey was NOT a disappointment. It’s a perfect backdrop for any number of shoes, sandals, and accessories. It can be dressed up or worn plain, and it will appear as different dresses. The fit is absolutely my favorite fit. Very similar to the All Season Swing Dress, it gives shape where I’d like it, but has a little give where I’d rather have a little extra loose fabric to hide the never to recover baby pooch. The shoulders are wide enough to cover the straps on most of my bras (not all of them - but that’s not important to me). The back is full and covered all of the straps. And the armholes do not gape, while not constricting either. I’m 5’5, ~150 lbs, and I have short legs for my height. So, I need my clothes below my waist to fall correctly within a very small window. This fits the bill! Just above my knee - exactly where I like it. It’s like it was made for me. I know some women are wondering about pockets. No pockets. However, I carry either a crossbody purse and/or I wear a favorite pair of biking shorts with pockets - that’s where I keep my phone. A pocket in this material on this dress would probably not hold the weight of my phone or would weirdly pull the fabric anyway. So - the trade off is worth it to me. I will definitely be wearing this a LOT this summer and into the fall, as it pairs great with a jacket. If you are on the fence about this dress - make the leap. Order the dress. You won’t regret it. 10/10

This was the nicest sweater I have ever purchased! It fit perfectly, sleeves were long but not too long and easy to push up! I wore it with a T-shirt and it was perfect temperature for traveling weather! It also looks cute draped over shoulders with the sleeves cuffed together. It felt soft from the start and I enjoyed wearing it every day! I think the color and style have lots of possibilities.. I wore it with jeans, leggings and shorts….but could see wearing with a skirt or even a dress! It will be in my travel bag from now on!
I’ll recommend the sweater to all of my friends..it’s a great addition to everyone’s closet!

Before beginning the challenge, I was worried that the sweater would be hard to wear for 7 days in a row. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved wearing it. I loved how comfortable the sweater was and that it held up well not washing it for so long, either.
I’m working towards a minimal wardrobe, that contains high quality clothing that will last a long time. We did have cool wet weather the week I wore it, but I've worn it since and even now that it's warmed up a bit, I find it very comfortable in the house. The material is not itchy in the slightest - no seams make it a very smooth fit and feel. The material just hugs - just the right amount of squeeze for comfort and warmth. Twice I got wet in it, and twice I stayed dry! Most impressively, it does not smell even after 7 days in a row of wear. Not even the pits! The color is gorgeous. I recently thrifted a bunch of old clothes including a pile of old sweaters. I'm really pleased with this new all season hoodie and plan to make it my go to. The color is great, but also neutral enough that I can wear it every day without people thinking I'm wearing the same thing. Well done, I have no complaints at all. I'll start saving up for a sea cell sweater which I would also like to try.

I knew I would like this sweater because I have another one! But I really like this one because it is a bit denser yet still feels light, stays clean and odorless, and is extremely comfortable. I love that it is something I can work in outdoors or wear casually to go out. it’s probably something I will grab and wheremore often than just about anything else. A big factor and recommending it to others who know my commitment to the environment is that it is made with sustainability in mind and has little if any carbon footprint.

These are expensive items and I had doubts before I got my 1st one, an all-season, navy cardigan, which I fell in love with. This is my 1st all-season crew, the marled crew, and I love it as well. The breathability. Which allows it to work in cooler 32 degree temps as well as warmer, 70 degree days, makes it great for spring in Michigan. It is soft, light weight and even after cooking onions and bacon, does not absorb smells. I did a 30-day challenge and have nothing but love for this crew neck. I anticipate it lasting a long, long time. I look forward to having fewer, higher quality items like this in my wardrobe.

I was skeptical to take the 7-day challenge with the yak all season crew since the weather was beginning to get warmer. I decided to give it a go since I had read other reviews that people were comfortable in slightly warmer temps. I re-wear my clothing regularly, but only until something begins to smell. With the yak sweater, by day 3, I found myself reflecting on how comfortable the sweater was and that I could see myself wearing it beyond the end of the challenge. By the end of the week, the sweater had no body odor or other smells. I will definitely go for this sweater before anything else. I have broad shoulders; the fit is athletic but not clingy in any way. Very comfortable, would recommend!

This is my second OC sweater, and I really love it! The charcoal color is gorgeous.The boatneck style is classic and versatile; I have paired with blue jeans and joggers casually, and black pants, white jeans. and skirts for a more polished look, and accessorized with silk scarves and jewelry. This sweater is replacing some older, lesser quality stylized sweaters that no longer serve me. I ordered my usual size- xs. I find it to be true to size. I think I will order another one in another color and a smaller size for a more formal-fitted look.
